Animal licensing fees

The current fees for the different types of animal licence are as follows:

Dog breeding - New £309 plus vet's inspection fees (billed separately)

Selling animals as pets - Renewal £187
Boarding for dogs and cats - Large establishment (7 or more) - New - 1 Licensable activity £259
Boarding for dogs and cats - Small establishment (6 or fewer) - New - 1 Licensable activity £223
Boarding for dogs and cats - Large establishment (7 or more) - Renewal - 1 Licensable activity £200
Boarding for dogs and cats - Small establishment (6 or fewer) - Renewal - 1 Licensable activity £164

Dangerous wild animal licence - New £361 plus vet's inspection fees (billed separately)
Dangerous wild animal licence - Renewal £204 plus vet's inspection fees (billed separately)
Zoo licence £518 plus Defra inspection fees (billed separately)

Please note hiring of horses requires an interim vet inspection annually which will be billed separately. 

Please be careful to pay the correct fee as over payments will be refunded minus the admin fee of £33.

You can use our online payment system via the button below, selecting 'licences' when prompted then 'Environmental Health licences' from the pick list.
