This nomination is not just in her memory but in celebration of her outstanding contributions to the world of dance and the countless lives she touched along the way.
Bob Wells
Bob Wells has been integral to the delivery of the Melton Lifesaving Club over the last 35 years. He has ensured the clubs continued success by volunteering each week and even paying the weekly session fee himself to support the club.
At 80 years old, Bob is still on the poolside sharing his expertise each week with a group of dedicated volunteers, helping the young members learn important lifesaving skills. The session has a regular cohort of junior lifesavers attending and it is great to see them practising their lifesaving techniques before Melton Mowbray Swimming Club sessions.
Well done to Bob for providing this valuable life skill and sporting activity you are true Melton Borough legend.
