The Statement of Persons Nominated lists the Candidates who are standing in Melton and Syston constituency for the General Election on 4 July. This is available to view in the Downloads panel at the bottom of this page.

Information for Candidates and Agents
Once a General Election is called, specific dates are set out in law for the steps leading up to the Election which cannot be changed.
Below are a number of key dates which candidates and agents will need to be aware of:

| Deadline for Receipt of Nominations, withdrawal of candidates and appointment of election agents Completed nomination packs must be hand-delivered to the Acting Returning Officer via the Elections Office. Please contact ElectionServices@melton.gov.uk to book an appointment to enable forms to be checked and confirmed. |
