Other ways to pay

Direct Debit

You can set up a Direct Debit to pay your Council Tax through My Account by registering for online Council Tax services. If you do not already have a My Account you can create an account.

Allpay

You can pay your Council Tax and rent by using an AllPay card.

To order a card call Customer Services on 01664 502502 and make sure you have either your rent account number or Council Tax account number available.  

There is no charge for using this service. 

The AllPay card will be accepted at all Post Offices and PayPoints located in local shops.  You can find your nearest one by using the My Melton search app.

You can make payments using cash, debit card or cheque.  Payments will normally take a couple of days to reach us so please make sure you pay in good time to avoid us taking recovery action. 

Pay by phone 

Pay over the phone using our automated payment line. Call 01664 502502 select option 1 to be directed to the payment system.

You can access this 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Make your cheque payable to Melton Borough Council and send it to:

Please write your account number, name and address on the back of the cheque. If your payment covers more than one account please ensure all account numbers are quoted on the back of the cheque.
